Glory Hallelujah!

On this day hundreds and hundreds of years ago, He rose.
Reigning as victor' or' the grave,
He defeated the evil foe.
On this day when many celebrate with song, food, and cheer,
I make sure to remember His sacrifice so dear.
For me this day marks not just a holiday,
But rather an intimate anniversary.
It is the day Jesus won, and rose to claim me,
In all His humble splendor and glory<3

Sun & Rain

Gaze absorbed, consumed,
admiration.
Sun glows within hazy fog, onto slick black streets.
Road covered in rain water reflecting,
is as bronze.
I see a path of gold before my feet,
in wonder I dare chuckle.
Such glory,
magnificent.
Praise the Almighty,
Creator.

What A Friend We Have in Jesus

I am His letter...

"You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men; being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts."
~ 2 Corinthians 3:2-3

My life; His novel, His sculpture, His precious gem. God knows what He's making me into, and where He's taking me. Instead of worrying over the details I will rest in Him, but I am going to take this opportunity to re-learn, and reapply the basics of living as a Christ follower. I am facing  life long lessons, but I know that it's all preparation for what the Lord has in store. It's an honor, privilege, blessing, and precious gift to have my life and soul chosen, by God, to be a letter of Christ written with the Spirit of the living God, a sculpture made by the hands of the Creator, a jewel chiseled and polished to shine so brightly that His reflection is made visible<3

Persevere

Deep, long breaths she reminds everyone, including herself. For though one faces everydays' multitude of battles, one must only face a single day at a time. She gives praise to the Almighty, for He never gives more than she can handle, more than she is equipped to carry. But in times where the load is so overwhelmingly great, there is much comfort. God carries her in her present state, and reassures by having already taken her sins to the cross and freely giving her salvation. She must trust Him and obey. She breaths, so that she may think on what her Master is asking of her...

"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, for once he has passed the test, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." James 1:12.
The goal is not to receive the crown. Rather it is about God keeping His promise of giving eternal life. She know this, sees and has experienced His total unrelenting devotion. None can surpass the wonder that is His faithfulness. She can never be perfect, but seeking to walks as Christ walked and to speak as He spoke, she continues following Him. She pursues learning His ways, and being refined by His, oh so painful yet eternally beneficial, holy fire. She seeks Him, not as fervently as He did her, but enough so that she is touched by His merciful grace and passion to act according to His commands.

Why does He continue to pursue her? to go after the hearts of millions and millions of blind wanderers? to call you unto Himself?...Love for us moved His heart. It would take His love, for us to surrender, to be so deeply moved that we would love Him in return. With His love in our hearts we are enabled to move forward to act in right relationship with Him, despite what we face every moment of everyday, from the seen to the unseen surrounding us. So this is what the Lord demands of her and yourself, to have perseverance (patiently endure), endurance (patient waiting), and to..
"Live your life in a manner worthy of Christ's death." S.J.B.

It is Well

No matter the circumstance, I turn to Him for rest. He is my comfort in affliction, and peace when all is astir. No matter the worry, the Lord "has regarded my helpless estate and hath shed His own blood for" me. Amidst bountiful blessings and joy I find my heart praising Him, amidst the quiet trembling sorrow, I praise Him all the more. But no matter "my lot Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well, with my soul."

Here

Even amidst great blessings, one cannot deny the searing pains of open wounds. But praise the LORD! For we do not have to endure them alone. He is the Great Physician, the all powerful Healer, the dearest comfort, surest hope, and most devoted Lover... God is with us, He is here.

This song is very special to me, thought I'd share<3

Enough

Sometimes it's not about wishing someone would notice the seen, but rather that someone would notice the unseen. It seems so pointless to hope there's another human who could be capable of such.

I believe this has been allowed so that I may recognize just how truly precious God is. That He seeks us out, calls and draws us to Himself, sets our feet upon the Rock, guides our journey, forgives and loves abundantly and sees the things no other can. For He went through it Himself. He understands because He's experienced it, He's lived it.

All I long for from another being cannot be found in simply one, nor a dozen...when I am disheartened that another does not treasure me, as I them, I shall not be dismayed. For it should not be our goal to be anothers most valued gem. Rather the mind's and heart's dwelling should focus upon qualities made possible, and brought about by God, knowing always that those are the things God's sees. If none other recognizes them, it does not matter. For all we think, say and do should be unto the Lord, anyways.

Praise God! For He is more than enough.

"..He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed."
Deuteronomy 31:8b

A Poem~ Speechless

The Lord, He whispers...

"Everything you needed and need

Everything you wanted and want

I am all these things.

Why do you search elsewhere for them, when I am right here?"
I am stuck dumb.

Daily Bread & Inspiration~

"Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because He delights in steadfast love."
Micah 7:18

"We love because He first loved us."
1 John 3:16

Completely and utterly blessed to know Love Himself! This morn I woke with feelings of bliss, but soon I thought to myself, "Why do I not celebrate Him, His love, and blessings everyday in this same way?"...
Why express my gratefulness and joy differently from one day to the next? Now my heart is full, filled with joy, peace, determination, hope, humility for all His work and blessing, but most of all I am satisfied in Him because I belong to Him. No matter the stuggles, the joys, He will always be the one I fly to<3

A poem~ Sea of Love

Flooding turquoise, pouring azureSurrounded, immersed.
Tumbling, and mighty
It tosses and twists, swirls and gushes.
It's cyan waves flood, embracing salty skin.
There is no storm to be seen.
Where there were heavy clouds,
now there are none.
The eye cannont tell
where sky meets sea and sea sky.
Light fills the expanse,
the universe illumed.
Wind reaches out,
swiftly grasping outstreched arms.
Dance, it sings.
Rejoice, it cries out!
He was and is and will always be!
Rejoice, for He has washed you clean,
Claimed you as His own,
pure, free, His beloved redeemed.

Lead Me To The Cross - Hillsong United

After working with the music team at my home church in CA for two and half years, everyone in the group seemed to really connect with certain songs, we all in a sense had "our special song/songs"...
This one was and still is mine<3

Daily Bread

Praise Him
"My heart is steadfast, O God ; I will sing, I will sing praises, even with my soul. Awake, harp, and
lyre ; I will awaken the dawn ! I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations. For You lovingkindness is great above the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and You glory above the earth."
-Psalm 108:1-5

He Sees our Sorrow

" ‘This is what the LORD, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.' "
-2 Kings 20:5b

Rejoice in Suffering

"Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."
-Romans 5:3-5

The Lord always knows what I need to hear, to get me through the day<3

Times of Calm and Storm

He never ceases to shower me with blessings, whether in quiet moments a sense of comfort, amidst a full schedule surprising gifts through another from Him, or in chaos a calm warming peace. He gives
His time, presence, healing, passion, hope, strength, compassion, kindness, consideration, mercy, generosity, discipline, correction, glimpses of His beauty, His Spirit, attention, care, tenderness, grace, patience, joy, gentleness, His Son's life, but most of all His love. He cares about the details of our lives, how we live, speak, think, act, but more so than that He wants us to see and know and hold Him to all that He has to offer us. He wants us to come to Him, to depend on Him. To draw life from Him as if He was our very source of oxygen. To live and love and learn Christ is my heart's desire. These things consume me, I am joyful for Him and all He is and does, but I will not doubt there are such blind moments of desperate temptation. This will always be so. But now whenever I forget Him, being filled with momentary things, business etc I find His Spirit nudging me, reminding me of Him. These are the times when we must "fly to Him" (Stepping Heavenward, by Mrs.E.Prentiss).To be humbled before Him, to repent of neglecting Him. For He is God, the Almighty, Creator, Father, Master, Friend, and Lover. He bought us for a price, we do not belong to ourselves but Him. Our old nature will forever fight being controlled, but because we belong to our Savior we should stop trying to overcome on our own. There comes a time in life where we all eventually learn that we are fighting ourselves. The repeated phrase, "We are our own worst enemies.", comes to mind. Soon enough the battle between our old nature and Christ's nature comes head to head. When we wobble between the two, seeming extremely lukewarm, we find our strength depleting over time. For myself I was drained in a matter of a few months of violent battle, for others it can take many years, others a lifetime. Sometimes we have to let go, to let God. We can't survive on own. No matter how unique and strong we believe ourselves to be. We have to move out of the way to let Him in, then we have to die to live in Him, and from Him. The eternal life He offers is so much greater than the lives we have here on earth. This lifetime will be gone sooner than it began and way off when sometime in eternity we will not even think back on our earthly lives.

My point is with all this to learn to live and do why are we not taking any actions in pursuing Him as He has always, us? For this reason I hope to depend and treat Him as dearly as possible. I long to
be devoted to Him as much as my human earthly heart, mind, and soul can be; even if I stumble and fail along the way. I know He will carry me wherever He wills. He is so faithful, so good in times of calm and storm. Because of earnest affection, I want to be shaped and used by Him. This makes me ask, when we love someone and care for them, don't we want to serve them, to love them and show our affections on a daily basis? Don't we want our dearest Friend to better us, to encourage and grow us? If so, then we should apply this thinking to our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Something that helps me remember these things and also my humble place before Him, is the understanding that right at this moment we are within the Heavenlies with our Creator. For the Kingdom is here in the "now" and also in the "not yet" (Carl Palmer). All we do, say, think, and feel takes place before Him. Let us not forget to treat Him dearly, to love Him as He's loved us (1 John 4:19).

Romans 14:6-8 NASB

"He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats, does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God. For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for it we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's."
