On this day hundreds and hundreds of years ago, He rose.
Reigning as victor' or' the grave,
He defeated the evil foe.
On this day when many celebrate with song, food, and cheer,
I make sure to remember His sacrifice so dear.
For me this day marks not just a holiday,
But rather an intimate anniversary.
It is the day Jesus won, and rose to claim me,
In all His humble splendor and glory<3
